Could you not use the sawdust that you get from the sawmill and thickness planer to use in the chicken run?
We have a small pair of 5 watt walkie talkies permanently on charge so that when we get deliveries like that we give one to the driver so he can hear the Stop over the radio before he hits something. We use them Also if I'm going to the back of the block for safety so the Mrs can communicate with me especially in the Quad etc..
hate to say but I think one of your panels is upside down. i saw the small squares on top. take a look before you start the pickets.
Use your own wood chips for ground cover. Natural and free.

You can use wood chips in your chicken coop.
put woos chips in your coupe as a floor after 3 years you can dig it out and put it in tour compst bin after a year it can be used in the garden . i have done this for years plants love it .

If you are concerned with the strength of the cattle panels you could add wood corner bracket to the four corners it would still look good with your theme…..lovin the fence build so will the dogs 🦮🐕🦺🦮🐕🦺🦮🦮🐕🦺🦮🦮🐕🦺🐕

Took the time and effort to rotor a grove for the cattle panel, but did not take the time and effort to rotor or mortise a rectangle for the top and bottom rails in the posts?? 🤔 Instead relying on a couple of screws for support. 🤔

I discovered your channel about 8 months ago and enjoy your videos. You two come across as extremely likable, fun and capable with a great work ethic. Your new fence looks very nice, but I'm still concerned about the bottom channel collecting water, despite your addressing that issue in this video. I think a better way to do the bottom rail would be to sandwich the cattle panel between two pieces of wooden rail. You could also raise those two pieces up so that only the vertical wires on the cattle panel go between them, with the bottom horizontal wire sticking out below. That would make drainage automatic and complete. I don't think drilling a few drain holes would have much overall effect, as the water would still collect everywhere the holes aren't.
I also really like your theme song, which I'd never heard before. Check out my rendition if you'd like.

I had a girl like that once.we built a log house 30 +years ago.now we are 60 and she makes me carry the post by myself. Just bought a woodland mills mill.wish I had it at that age.God please you both.life goes fast cut all you can
